if you've been with me from the beginning, you've been through myspace, reverbnation, the old music tab on facebook, and most recently ustream, bandcamp, and mixcloud.

kind of a pain to keep track.

i'll make it simple from now on by posting everything here.

i'll link whenever i add songs to bandcamp, mixes to mixcloud, live stream to ustream, or video to youtube.

once i start putting up new stuff, i'll explain easy ways to stay updated & share with your friends.

figured id post the cypher me and alden wrote on ichat the other day.

its like, 2 times out of 10 i get an answer / its like, 3 friends even give a damn so / i ask you to fill me in so / i can feel like part of the plan but / most times im like the wind, i / blow round, no one seems to sense it / whisper words, but no one seems to mention / it’s like I’m in the 4th dimension…

its more like 5 times that i can clearly see my face in the mirror/clear the fog so that i can see clearer/no one behind me/ nobody to side/were all alone just one/ aint no place to hide

no asylum to find, instead i relied / on myself to the death, shuffled hands i was dealt / no respect to the rest, i relay the creator / dante's hell is my mental and Pearly Gates is my alma mater...

death makes one think, reminisce, reminiscing/LBJ JFK, even Richard Nixon/ am I a slave to my thoughts, or am I a slave to society/ makes one think why had death gotten such notoriety

just ask notorious, martyrdom aint glorious / find your way while wading from weighted shackles to glazed fame / when you peak, peek out, seek out the next down, speak of / clouds sneaking over american dream

you mean lies, cheating, stealing, and greed/ yeah, the american dream is just what this country needs/ give him a gun, loaded with ammunition/let me stand on the wall for this bloodbath exhibition

while critics view the blooms from the tombs of muses / muted humans are consumed, from the womb polluted / no coverage of victims just the rags to the riches / while poison and plague rages, the world turns (tabloid pages)...

rumors and gossip never proved to be healthy/ who cares about the famous, politicians or the wealthy/fighting and angry, the bankrupt and the enforcer/ who cares about brad when he decides to divorce her

foul minds give birth to fouler wisdom / all eyes and all surprise when foul kids come / the purest is prolific but impossible to prove / provide to the people the position, tell them 'move'

permanent resuscitation, mixed with hours of frustration/stimulate the body for mental masturbation/self-deception,deceptive lies, wanting to believe/will we ever stop? the pain ever be relieved?

the pain is fake, false heartache / without stake we embrace the great / with great faith, we chase fate's disgraced face / great apes gave way to make space for THIS race…?

evolution revolution, hip-hop, hypocracy/ dying breeds make way for Americas cloned democracy/ presidential, residential, citizen narration/ lift me up, put me down for exuberant exuberation

exacerbated actions, painstakingly proven / to diminish the physical whims of god's allusions / illusory conclusions, elusively intruded / upon a population prepared for mere manipulation...

prepared but still fight, like soldiers that keep dying/ walking, marching, always keep trying/the truth be known only to those who listen/peace is merely an idealists superstition

as ears open and fears close in / reverence is beholden to the peers of olden / the tearful question of new direction / avoided at all costs, sincere deflection

shields rise, swords and arrows deflected/let me get medieval on your ass, flamethrowers soon erected/ raise the flag in honor, use what you are given/you have the strength and you need it to keep living.

i havent done much music this past week cause ive been sick, but its probably about time for another post. im hoping to get back to making new tracks for the album tomorrow.

meanwhile im still hoping someone will find the courage to actually leave a comment with some feedback. i added that chat box on the left hand side because a bunch of people told me they check the site but dont have time to comment.

the chatbox is wicked fast. if you listen -- and i know you do, because i get to see the play count for the tracks -- please at least just leave a "hi, its me and i liked/hated that song." ideally a lil more.

p.s. i dont like the scratches on temper so im going to take it out when i go back to developing the song.

a couple of you have told me you check this all the time, but Never Know what to say in a comment. well i have something for you. remember that elementary school game where each person says a word or two in turn and a whole story is written? this is an open invitation to play that, but with verse.

im posting a 4 line freestyle, and i want you to continue it. anyone can post their own 4 line continuation of mine. it doesnt have to follow the rhyme, and its probably better if it doesnt, but try to follow the general idea. once one person posts, its someone elses turn to continue after those 4 lines. we create a composite free-form verse bringing together ideas from many different people with many different styles, and if enough people post to make a full pair of 16s or more then i will make a complete song with those as verses. just give it a try.

this is kind of an experiment. i figure theres a couple people with whom i share a lot of my enthusiasm about music & life & all that, and theres one or two people who are genuinely excited about the new musical stuff i put out. i figure that maybe, if this works, itll be better to have everything in one place, where i can put out my thoughts and anyone who cares can read, respond, whatever. let it be food for thought if nothing else. also it provides one easy place to drop new lyrics, new song ideas, new SONGS, and ask for feedback from other people. right now im not talking to anyone in particular cause im still checking this out. so maybe, if this works out, ill keep it up. and ideally, as i develop musically and figure out where im trying to go, more people will get on board with me.

here goes nothing.
